In Providenciales
Grace Bay
All-oceanfront suites on eleven hundred feet of the best stretch of the beach, with the adults-only and family sides kept separate.
Northwest Point
Pavilions on the far, undeveloped end of the island beside a nature reserve. Remote by design, and priced accordingly.
Grace Bay
The most conventional of the big luxury resorts on the beach, with the largest pool and the simplest logistics.
Twelve miles of it, routinely rated the best beach in the world, and the water stays waist-deep for a hundred yards out. This is the entire reason the island is a destination.
Snorkeling straight off the sand at Coral Gardens, no boat needed. Smith's Reef, further west, is bigger and usually emptier.
A shallow lagoon of improbably bright water studded with small rock islands, ten minutes from Grace Bay. Best seen from a kayak.
Half-day trips to the uninhabited cays, with iguanas on Little Water Cay and sandbars standing in the middle of open water.
On Blue Hills Beach on the north shore, with conch pulled out of the water in front of you and live music most afternoons. The one non-resort meal everybody ends up taking.
Japanese-Caribbean in an open-air pavilion. Non-guests can book, and it is the best dinner on the island.
Cracked, fritters, salad, ceviche. It is the national dish, and the season is regulated, so there are months when it is not on the menu at all.
Airlines add and cut routes every season. Leave your email and we'll tell you when nonstop service into PLS changes.
