Valiant Lady suits adults who want more islands in a week than a Bahamas loop can offer. Virgin's ship page currently lists Southern Caribbean cruises from San Juan, Puerto Rico, including a seven-night sailing calling at Tortola, Bridgetown, Castries, St. John's and Philipsburg, and a six-night sailing calling at Tortola, Basseterre, St. John's and Castries.

Who might look elsewhere

Families with children cannot sail. If you want a short trip, Scarlet Lady's four and five night sailings from Miami are the gentler option.

On board

Like the rest of the fleet, Valiant Lady uses a choice of restaurants rather than one main dining room, and Virgin includes more in the fare than many lines. Confirm the current inclusions for your sailing.

Cabins and planning

Virgin's cabin guide says most sailors book a Sea Terrace, its balcony cabin. On a port-heavy Southern Caribbean week you may use the balcony mostly early and late, and spend less time in the cabin than you expect, so weigh the extra for a RockStar suite against the shore days you have planned. Some Sea Terraces have limited views and layouts differ, so check the exact cabin.

What is included and what is extra

Dining at Virgin's eateries, basic Wi-Fi, fitness classes, essential drinks and entertainment are in the fare. Alcohol and premium Wi-Fi cost extra, and since 7 October 2025 a daily service gratuity applies.
