Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line is built around families: rotational dining through three themed restaurants, excellent kids clubs and private-island days on most Bahamas and Caribbean sailings. It suits families who want both kids and adults looked after.

Who this line suits
Disney suits families who want Disney storytelling, characters and shows at sea, and grandparents travelling with grandchildren. Adults without children can enjoy it too: Disney ships have adult-exclusive restaurants and lounges, and Disney's terms say adult entertainment districts are restricted to guests 18 and over after 9 pm. If Disney itself is not the draw, compare with Royal Caribbean or Carnival for value.
What the fare covers
Disney's planDisney panel, answering in August 2024, lists rotational dining, most meals and non-alcoholic drinks such as coffee, tea, soda and juice, room service, Broadway-style shows, deck parties, pools, movies, character meet-and-greets and youth clubs as included. Policies can change after that date, so we confirm for your sailing.
What costs extra
The same answer lists the nursery as the exception to included youth clubs, along with Wi-Fi, Disney Port Adventures, spa and salon, bingo, alcohol, specialty coffee and the adult-exclusive restaurants. Gratuities can be prepaid or settled at the end of the cruise.
Dining
Rotational dining is Disney's signature: you move between themed restaurants on different nights and your servers move with you. On Disney Treasure those are 1923, Worlds of Marvel and Plaza de Coco.
Cabins
Many cabins are laid out for families, but bed and bathroom arrangements differ. Tell us how many are sharing and their ages so we can check layouts.
Ships in this collection
Disney Wish (three and four night Bahamas from Port Canaveral) and Disney Treasure (seven-night Caribbean from Port Canaveral).

From an advisor
Disney books up early, especially over school breaks. If you know your dates, secure a cabin well ahead rather than waiting for a sale that may not come; we will watch for any price changes after you book.
