Before you sail
Night before
The Canada Line SkyTrain runs from the airport to Waterfront Station, next to Canada Place, in about 25 minutes, so a downtown hotel the night before is simple. You are flying into Canada, so bring a passport.
Parking
Long-term cruise parking is in the Canada Place parkade, run by Indigo Park Canada.
Terminal
Every ship uses Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal on the downtown waterfront, for both round-trip and one-way Alaska cruises. U.S. border clearance for northbound Alaska sailings happens at the terminal before you board.
From an advisor
If you are choosing between Seattle and Vancouver, Vancouver opens up one-way routes that reach the glaciers of the Gulf of Alaska. A round trip from Seattle is simpler, but a one-way cruise from Vancouver usually sees more of Alaska.
