Nonstop from Nashville, TN

106 cities you can reach without a layover, 103 in the U.S. and 3 abroad, grouped by how long you'd be in the air.

Nashville is a music town that spent the last decade becoming a food town as well, and the two do not always sit comfortably together. Broadway, the neon stretch downtown, is loud and crowded and largely bachelorette parties. Almost nobody who lives here goes. The city locals actually use is a mile or two out: East Nashville across the river, Germantown to the north, 12 South and the Gulch. That is where the cooking is and where a weekend gets interesting. Go for the music anyway, but go to the Ryman or the Station Inn rather than the honky-tonks. Spring and fall are pleasant. July is humid in a way that has to be experienced.
